Got the Pug back from the garage. Aircon now works a dream, and they cleaned it too :)
I got a lift down to my parents with the neighbours, who were driving south on Friday, then my parents kindly offered to drive me over to the garage, cos I missed the train due to sleeping in.
It rained today, lots. This is another reason I am glad my parents offered to drive me over, cos the garage is about a mile or so from the train station, and I would have got a bit damp.
Re-aquainted myself with driving a real car, one that will respond when you tell it, and go where you point it :)
I was also a naughty boy, and did some shopping, in a particular shop, where I buy nice (but expensive) things every now and again. Also got made several cups of coffee, so it was worth it :)
Just driven back up tonight. Roads were really quiet, it was a suprise really, I was expecting it to be busier. Quite a lot of fog on the roads tonight too, driving through the Carse was a bit of a challenge, cos you could hardly see a thing,a nd you had to watch out for the kamikaze wildlife (young deer are out and about again)
Tomorrow, weather permitting, I think I'm supposed to be meeting up with the people from the ex-work, wandering about a bit, and then doing food in the evening, which will be nice.
