Just helped a friend try and find a TV. Not just any tv, it has to have certain features. It's for a videoconference unit, so can't be widescreen. It's also in a moderately sized meeting room, so needs to be a decent size. Final requirement is it has to be an online retailer, cos none of the company's suppliers sell televisions, they can't expense it, so it has to be bought on a corporate purchasing card that's registered to someone else in the company.

How hard can it be?

Harder than you think. Most 28" plus tvs are widescreen. Hell, most online retailers don't even stock standard 4:3 tvs any more.

Anyways, kudos goes to Index/Littlewoods, who have one on their site that's available to buy. Bad goes to amazon, who have loads listed, but all at 'limited availability' which means no chance

The video conference suite we have at work is widescreen.

I could try to find out supplier details when I'm in work next week?

Though this is 'bank has more money than it knows what to do with' kit. It's a 60" Plasma, so the price would be upwards of £25K...
