Today ...

would be a perfect day for a bbq, the sun is shining, there's very little wind.

Only two small problems

a) no bbq
b) aside from two frozen burgers, there's no food to go on a bbq

Oh well, maybe next time ;)

If you had come shopping with me yesterday we could have bought one. But you don't like leaving the house at weekends...

We bought a BBQ yesterday, just as the weather here turned better.

A big gas one which is cool as we only get electric to cook with inside.

As for BBQ food, if you get one at all, I'd heartily recommend just keeping a pound of mince in the freezer. It only takes five minutes to defrost in the microwave and can soon be turned into burgers with the help of a finely choped onion, some random herbs and a tablespoon of flour. And if the weather isn't good enough for outdoor cooking it can just as easily be turned into Spaghetti Bolognese or something :)
