although to be fair, i'd hardly think a few inches would be enough to close schools, and i did get in at half 10, when it started melting, and the roads had cleared a bit.
It was allowed though, i'd been logged in since just before half 8, and had already phoned round most of the schools whose networking was impacted by the weather, before the boss had even noticed there was a problem
