A study in how not to do it, probably.

I spent the day playing with various computers in the place.

I have been meaning to do this for a while (motherboard/processor swapouts, install new hardware, that sort of thing.)

I started off well, then things went downhill.

I now have 4 computers in need of a bit of attention.

The first almost works, it has windows on it and all that gubbins, but it won't install the drivers for my new sonicfury soundcard.

The second is missing a floppy cable, so I don't know whether it works or not.

The third wont post. I think this may be due to some overclocking stuff that giant had done to it before I got it.

The fourth was the one for my sister. It also won't post. I think this may be due to memory, it was some I found on a shelf.

*sigh* I'll get there, eventually.
