A study in how not to do it, probably.

I guess I should update, let you know what's going on in my little corner of this joke that someone called life.

I watched Ice Age again today. That is about the pinnacle of my list of achievements. What a high point, eh? I also tidied the kitchen a bit, put away the shopping I bought like probably 3 weeks ago (cans and packets and stuff).

I have toothache. I've had it since about Thursday now. I have an appointment with the dentist, but that isn't till Wednesday. In the mean time I'm chewing on nurofen, which isn't ideal, but it's keeping the pain down to bearable levels.

It was too cold and wet to work on the car today, so I stayed indoors and read some more of my book (The Fire Dragon, by Katharine Kerr). I'm just approaching the end of reading my entire collection of her work. I started this before Christmas, so it hasn't taken too long. I fear reading the whole of the Wheel of Time again. I'm not that brave.

My chicken never thawed out in time, so I guess that's for tomorrow now. I'm cooking some pasta just now, and will have that with some sauce, I think.

Heh, I did think. And I ate too :)

So I've been told by the garage that the Mazda is now fixed - it needed another 'new' fuel pump. New probably being new to the car, rather than new new. I should be able to collect that on Monday, and stop using the Pug for work again. Still don't know if it's going to pass it's MOT though, I may ask when I collect it. Talking of the Pug, I need to get it booked infor it's service too, I think this one is the big one where they replace the timing belt. That's going to be a cheap one, not!
